Omniana is operated by Masamichi Souzou Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales. Masamichi Souzou Ltd. is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
When we say “we”, “us”, or “our” in this policy, we mean Masamichi Souzou Ltd.

Information you provide directly
- Account information (name, email address) when you sign up via Google Authentication
- Profile and life data you enter into Omniana (happiness ratings, journal entries, relationships, systems, inventory items, life design goals)
- Photos and images you upload to the platform
- Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store your full card details)
- Communications you send to us
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information (type, operating system, browser version)
- Usage data (features used, pages visited, time spent in the app)
- IP address and approximate location
- Cookies and similar technologies
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Omniana service
- Generate personalised insights, suggested actions, and happiness analytics
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send you service-related communications (e.g. account verification, security alerts)
- Send you marketing communications if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Respond to your enquiries and support requests
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
4. Lawful Basis for Processing
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases to process your personal data:
- Contract — Processing necessary to perform our contract with you (e.g. providing the Omniana service, managing your account and subscription).
- Legitimate interests — Processing necessary for our legitimate interests, such as improving the Service, preventing fraud, and ensuring security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate Omniana. These providers only have access to your information as needed to perform their functions:
- Google (Authentication & Cloud Storage)— We use Google Sign-In for account authentication and Google Cloud for storing uploaded images. Google's privacy policy applies to their handling of your data.
- Stripe (Payments) — We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly. We do not have access to your full card number.
- Replit (Hosting)— Our application is hosted on Replit's infrastructure. Replit may process technical data (such as server logs) as part of providing hosting services.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Images are stored in Google Cloud Storage. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
While we take every reasonable precaution, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of our third-party service providers (including Google, Stripe, and Replit) are based in the United States. This means your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the United Kingdom.
Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or transfers to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
